Hi there, I’m Alicia Burke!
–proud mom of four wonderful kids (affectionately called the "Burklings" – Lia, Clara, Teddy, and Vivien). After dedicating a decade to being a full-time mom, I felt ready to invest more in myself and my community.
My love for yoga and passion for helping others led me to complete yoga teacher training in 2021, which opened the door to certifications in prenatal, children’s, and trauma-informed yoga.
During my prenatal training, I discovered the world of doula support—and I was instantly hooked. I’m thrilled to have completed my birth doula training and am working toward DONA certification. I am also seeking certification in Somatic Healing.
Having experienced childbirth in various ways, I’ve come to appreciate not only the beauty of the process, but also the myriad of decisions and challenges that come with it.
My goal is to ensure that every woman knows her options, feels empowered during labor, and has the support she needs to make her birth experience uniquely hers. Whether you envision an epidural, a fully natural birth, or something in between, I’m here to guide and support you through it.
I truly believe that childbirth can be both empowering and joyful, and it’s an incredible honor to support families on this life-changing journey.
In a few words, I’m a free spirit with a touch of quirk.
Compassionate, a good listener, and someone who stands up for what’s right, I value authenticity, connection, and creativity. I’m an Enneagram 4 (yep, I'm obsessed!)—the romantic, independent type.
When I'm not working, you’ll find me enjoying a good book, puzzling, collecting plants, traveling, dancing, or catching a nap.
I love spending time with my family, snuggling our kittens, and cheering on the Burklings as they pursue their passions. My husband, Johnne, and I also love going to concerts, hunting for antiques, and enjoying good Mexican food.
